ASDHA Mission Statement
To improve the public’s health, our mission is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene; increase awareness and utilization of the cost-effective benefits of prevention; promote the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice and research; and represent and promote the interests of dental hygienists.

ASDHA Goals and Objectives
ASDHA is the professional association of Registered Dental Hygienists’ and constantly works to increase access to oral health care for all citizens of Arizona. We also strive to protect and increase recognition, growth and public awareness of the profession of dental hygiene and professional dental hygienists’.

The profession of dental hygiene is continuously changing and growing through research, education and legislation. The course that is taken to protect and advance our profession affects every dental hygienist and the public we serve. Our professional association is the only authoritative and effective voice to protect and advance our profession, educational standards and careers. ASDHA is the voice of the professional dental hygienist as we work together to increase access to oral health care and advance and protect our profession.
